Yam porridge

Yam porridge

INGREDIENTS
1)Yam(peeled and cut into big cubes)
2)Red Pepper(diced)
3)Onions(diced)
4)Fluted pumpkin(ugwu) sliced
5)salt 6)Curry
7)blended crayfish
8)knor cubes
9)Red oil

PROCESS Put the yam into the pot with desired water. Take note to add the exactly desired water so it doesn't become excess. A trick I use is to put the water like 2inches below the yam cubes in the pot. Put the yam on fire. I add in every ingredient from when I put the yam on fire cos the yam doesn't take that long to soften and I don't like the yam to be mushy. I mix it up with the yam. You could add smoked fish or dried fish if u desire too. I cook for 20-30 minutes or until I get the desired softness. I mix for like a minute to get some thickness into the sauce in the porridge and serve. Bon apetit
